The Birthing Room

I have captured many milestones for this family over the years.  It was an honour to be able to photograph the birth of their third child.  It was surreal as I stood waiting to see this little one enter the world.   I watched as a baby was held for the very first time, and at that moment my heart melted.  I listened as a mother told her little boy that everything would be all right.  She will calm and reassure him, tell countless bedtime stories, laugh, teach and love.  And she will be his hero because she is simply amazing.

Claire

It's always my pleasure to photograph this lovely family.  I was excited to hear about the arrival of baby number two.  Claire is just as beautiful as her big sister.  Right now they don't know it, but in the years to come these two girls will have a special bond that only sister's can share.  There will be endless giggles, play dates, slumber parties, doing hair, nails, and shopping trips to the mall.
Brad and Emily you have been blessed with a precious little girl, perfect in every way.

Kaitlyn

I never get tired of photographing newborn babies.  It always reminds me of the miracle of life.  Everything about them is so perfect.  From their tiny fingernails, their little toes, to that fresh baby skin.  I love holding babies and watching them sleep.
Kaitlyn you took your time getting settled, but I think your mom and dad will agree it was worth the wait.

Madeline

There is so much to experience in your first year of life.  You go from being completely helpless to taking your first steps toward independence.  It starts with rolling over, then beginning to feed yourself - which usually results in Cheerios all over the floor.  From there you begin to crawl and pull yourself up on furniture.  After that, it's those long awaited first steps and first words.  Your first year of life is the beginning of many new and amazing things to discover.  This time is equally exciting for both the child and the parents.  For if we allow ourselves to see the world through our children's eyes we are reminded of the simple beauty this world holds.Happy Birthday Madeline!

Olga & Erwin

Ahh young love, you can see it in their eyes.  The way they look at each other, speak with such love and tenderness.  It's a beautiful thing.  Through their love, they brought a beautiful baby boy into this world.  He will grow up in a home built on a firm foundation of love and trust.  He doesn't know it yet, but that foundation will be one that will guide him as he grows to be a young man.

I enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and I wish you much joy and happiness as you raise your family.

Eli

Eli arrived just over two weeks early weighing in at 7lbs 2oz.  Terri wasn't used to such a big newborn as her other two children were both over 4 weeks early.  He loves being snuggled and kept warm, and who wouldn't want to snuggle him, he's irresistible.  His skin is perfect and those chubby cheeks and lips are adorable.  Dave and Terri are a great couple.  Eli is blessed to be born into such a fabulous family.

Peyton

This little guy is so adorable.  His skin is absolutely perfect!  His facial expressions make me laugh.  And that little tummy, it was just too cute.  While posing him his full tummy swooshed just like a water balloon.  He was so cuddly, I could have held him all day.   His mom was one of the most relaxed newborn mom's I've seen.  He has an extended family who love him to pieces.  I think someone's going to get spoiled.

Thomas

I just love little ones.  The cute expressions on their faces, the look in their eyes when they see something new.  There's so many firsts in a baby's life, it's such an adventure for them.  Being a parent is so amazing.  You watch as they experience the touch of grass on their tiny toes, the look in their eyes as they grab a handful of leaves for the first time.  The enormous giggle that comes out of nowhere that you could listen to for hours.  Thomas may you enjoy all the amazing things life has to offer.
