The sun was bright on this October wedding day.  It was a beautiful Greek Orthodox ceremony rich in customs and traditions.  Families and friends gathered together to celebrate the love between Pete and Karen.
It was an honour to document your day.  It was so full of love and happiness - this is just the beginning.  I wish you many wonderful years together.

When you find someone and fall in love it's a beautiful thing.  You decide to get married and spend the rest of your life with that one person you just can't live without.  Months turn into years and before you realize it you're celebrating 25 years together.  Your love was strong then, but it's nothing compared to the love that's between you now.  

Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand it's own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.  1 Corinthians 13:4-7

I had the privilege of photographing this family in the past and it was a pleasure once again.  They've had a busy spring.  A retirement, 30th Wedding anniversary, and four graduations!  Yes you heard me FOUR!  That's four grad dresses, four ceremonies, four dinners, and of course four parties.  They showed up in style and as always looked amazing.  Here's to celebrating a wonderful marriage and a beautiful family.

Ray & Ingrid Married

Ray and Ingrid met, and after their third date knew this was a relationship that would last.  Completely smitten with each other they decided that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. 
This was a long awaited day.  Ingrid has always been extremely giving of her time and talents.  Family and friends gathered together to make this day everything she had always hoped for.  For she deserved nothing less. 

Family is very important to Ray.  That's one thing they both had in common, they both valued family.  Ray's smile is infectious.  I don't think they stopped smiling the entire day. 

Together they are better then they were apart.  Where one is weak, the other is strong.  When you find someone you love completely you realize that you compliment each other. 
Ray and Ingrid you are a perfect match.  I am grateful to be a part of your lives.

Ahh young love, you can see it in their eyes.  The way they look at each other, speak with such love and tenderness.  It's a beautiful thing.  Through their love, they brought a beautiful baby boy into this world.  He will grow up in a home built on a firm foundation of love and trust.  He doesn't know it yet, but that foundation will be one that will guide him as he grows to be a young man. 

I enjoyed spending the afternoon with you and I wish you much joy and happiness as you raise your family.
